Paul R. Rinaldo

July 9, 1945 — August 23, 2018

Paul Robert Rinaldo, 73, of Easley, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late John and Mary Elizabeth Rinaldo.

Paul served our country in the US Marine Corps. He was a decorated Sargent receiving 2 purple hearts from his tours in Vietnam, and the Bronze Star Medal of Honor.

He loved being outdoors. His favorite past times were camping, volunteering with the Boy Scouts and gem mining.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Brian Bolde, of Pickens; his stepchildren, Adam and Maria Free and family; Tina and John Garr and family, all of Florida; and his siblings, Jack Rinaldo, Rick Rinaldo, Anna Strong and Marlene Garvey, all of New York.

At Paul's request, private services will be held.

The family will gather for a time of reflection and celebration on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 12:00pm, at the home of Brian & Katie, 219 Crescent Hill Rd., Pickens, SC 29671.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 52, 118A Legion St., Easley, SC 29642.
