Mr. Paul Ronald Snipes, 67, of 109 Woodview Court, Easley, loving husband of Emma Mae Galloway Snipes, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his residence.

Paul was born on January 30, 1947 in Gainesville, GA to the late Hoke Smith and Ella Mae Cantrell Snipes. He was a Weaver in the Textiles Industry, having worked for Alice Manufacturing and retired from Woodside Beattie Plant in Fountain Inn as a Weaver. Mr. Snipes enjoyed watching westerns, listening to old music, especially country and Elvis, and loved to play the guitar. Mr. Snipes attended Open Praise Holiness Fellowship Church in Easley.

In addition to his wife, Mrs. Emma Mae Snipes, he is survived by a son; Ronald Shane Snipes of the home; two brothers; Harry Snipes and his wife Lillian of Easley, and Charles Stanley Snipes of Easley; one sister; Carol Bakker of Easley; and one sister - in - law; Mary Snipes. Mr. Snipes is also survived by a grandson; Jan Michael Vinson Nelson of Traveler's Rest; and three great-grandchildren; Corbin, Destiny, and Michelle Nelson, all of Marietta.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter; Bridgett Meshelle Dickson; two brothers; Wayne Snipes and Jackie Snipes; and one sister, Dorothy "Dot" Rampey.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Rev. Rowland Bearden and Rev. Jerry McCall officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.

The Family is at the residence.

Flowers are optional, or the family asks that memorial donations be made to to the Organ Fund of Open Praise Holiness Fellowship Church, 305 John Street, Pickens, SC 29671.
