Paul Edward "Ed" Stewart, Jr., 79, husband of Wanda Whitlock Stewart, of Liberty, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Born in Turnerville, GA, he was a son of the late Paul E. Stewart, Sr. and the late Sarah Ruth Ivester Rollins (Marion).

Ed proudly served with the U.S. Navy Seabees, where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and later retired from Parks Buick GMC as the service manager.

He enjoyed all sports, with a special love for golf and football, and was a devoted fan of the Clemson Tigers. He also loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Above all, he was a devoted and faithful servant of the Lord.

In addition to his loving wife of 59 years, Ed is survived by a son, Christopher Edward Stewart (Christel) of Easley; a sister, Elaine Long of Easley; and his grandchildren, Connor and Cydney Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 100 Clay Street, Easley, SC 29642.
