Paula Marie Hartsell Lail, 64, of Easley, wife to Larry A. Lail, passed peacefully, Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Greenville.
Born in Iredell County, NC to the late Doke Monroe Hartsell and Clara Estelle Sharpe Wrenn.
Along with her husband, Paula attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville and was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, Buick Club of America, and the Electric City Classics of Anderson. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and was a music lover.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Edward Hartsell.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years and 3 days; daughter, April L. Ortiz of Easley; sisters, Patricia Eckard of Hickory, NC, Laura George (Sam) of Winston Salem, NC, and Debra Carson (Don) of Lincolnton, NC; granddaughter, Anabella Ortiz of Easley; long time friends, Lucille and Larry Mazzoni; a number of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 25th at 2:00PM at the Chapel of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 547 6th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601 with Rev. John L. Yost, III officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made directly to Greenville Health System - Cancer Institute, 900 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.
