Mrs. Pauline "Polly" Moore Gillespie, 81, wife of Willard James Gillespie, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 21, 2017 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Marvin and Eula Finley Moore, Mrs. Gillespie retired from the Health Care industry and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of thirty-three years, are a daughter, Karen D. Whitmire (James) of Easley; a son, Kerry Dale Gilstrap of Easley; a brother, Bud Moore of Easley; a sister, Carolyn Roper of Easley; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gillespie was predeceased by a brother, Roger Moore; and a sister, Beulah Galloway.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, July 23, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:15 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and James Whitmire.
