Pauline Barker Harper, 95, widow of John Harper died August 11, 2006 at Easley Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital. A native of Central, she was the daughter of the late Jerry A. and Leila Hunnicutt Barker. She was an active member of Central First Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by brothers: Clyde A. Barker of Oakway, and Reverend Thomas Barker of Pickens, SC; sisters: Lucille McClellan of Seneca and Dorothy Wilbanks of Central, SC, and one special niece Martha Corbett of Hendersonville, NC, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers: JC, Fred, Edward, and James Barker, and sisters: Evelyn Barker and Nell Tuck.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm at Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-1:30 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Central First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 338, Central, SC 29630.
Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
