Pauline Looper Simmons, 100, of 184 Griffin Road, wife of the late Guy Milton Simmons, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Oakmont East Nursing Center.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Sam Barnett and Nettie Stewart Looper. Mrs. Simmons retired as the Food Service Manager at the Dacusville Schools and was the oldest member of Dacusville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Zane Simmons and Don S. Simmons, Sr. (Tracy), all of Easley; two daughters, Jean S.Griffin and Hope S. Hendricks, all of Easley; 4 grandchildren, Phillip Hendricks (Gilda), Paula H. Reinovsky (Joe), Stuart Simmons (Amy) and Robin S. Heater (Michael); 8 great-grandchildren, Bob Hendricks, Margaret Hendricks, Jennifer Reinovsky, Justin Reinovsky, Nicholas Reinovsky, Don Simmons, III, Elizabeth Simmons and Griffin Heater.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Simmons was predeceased by a brother, Milton Looper.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Jean S. Griffin, 186 Griffin Road, Easley.
Memorials may be made to Dacusville United Methodist Church, 1365 Thomas Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640.
