Pauline Hayes Whitwell, 92, of 212 Hunter Ave., passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 in Clemson, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Whitwell.
Born in Rutherford County, TN, she was a daughter of the late David and Lilly Smith Hayes. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Trenton, TN.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy (Dianne) Whitwell of Shelbyville, TN and Ted (Kathy) Whitwell of Clemson, SC; one brother, James B. Hayes of Dyer, TN; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Hunt Funeral Home, Bradford, TN with burial to follow at Davidson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Trenton, TN.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:50 AM on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
