Annie Pearl Porter Albertson, 90, of 735 Smith Grove Road, wife of the late James Willard Albertson, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Hospice of the Upstate.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Robert Richard and Mary Elizabeth Hood Porter, Mrs. Albertson was a homemaker and a member of Lendhardt Christian Fellowship.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Weldon and Ruby Albertson and Vernell and Donna Albertson, all of Easley; two daughters, Grace Blackston and Nancy Suddeth and her husband, James, all of Easley; four sisters, Ada Fricks and Virginia Haney, both of Pendleton, Louise Young of Anderson and Ruby Shinabery of Gary, IN; two brothers. Floyd Porter and Charles Porter, both of Pendleton; twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Albertson was predeceased by two sons, James Albertson and Wayne Albertson; five brothers, Roy, Alvin and Lloyd Porter and Guy and Clyde Gilstrap; two sisters, Maybelle Holcombe and Christine Gibson; a granddaughter, Jamie Tenille Albertson; and by two great-grandsons, Matthew David and Jacob Bryan Teat.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of Grace Blackston, 103 South Dale Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
