Pearl Rampey Sudduth, 94, of 210 South Fourth Street, and wife of the late Herman Sudduth, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010, in Fletcher, NC.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Arthur Joseph and Susie Roper Rampey, Mrs. Sudduth was a homemaker and a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Troy L. Sudduth (Joyce) of Easley; three daughters, Mary Ann Stansell and Linda Simmons (Joel), both of Easley, and Barbara Cameron (Cam) of Fletcher, NC; a daughter-in-law, Violet Sudduth; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sudduth was predeceased by a son, Marvin H. Sudduth; a son-in-law, Bruce Stansell; a special sister-in-law, Rosa Suddeth; five brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at Geer Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip McAlister officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitaion will be from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. Monday at the church, prior to the service.
The family is at the home.
