Peggy Jane Bawkum Cromer, 67, wife of James H. Cromer, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, March 10, 2008. Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of Robert Bawkum of Andover, MA and the late Nellie Mae Mitchell Bawkum. She was a homemaker and worked for Milliken for many years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Brian Cromer and his wife Tammy, Clay Cromer and his companion Veronica; daughters, Sandra Gilliland and her husband Robert, Sharon Huff and her companion Bailey Brown, Sheryl Marro and her husband Ryan; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonya Fuller and two sisters, Mildred Davis and Mary Thompson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2pm in the chapel at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca. The family will receive friends on Friday prior to the service from 1-2pm at the funeral home.
