Peggy Thomas Corn Crum

Peggy Thomas Corn Crum, 87, wife of the late Robert Corn, Jr. and the late James Ross Crum, went to be her Lord and Savior Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Eugene Thomas and the late Florence Simmons Thomas, Mrs. Crum was a graduate of Pickens High School and retired from Alice Manufacturing Company-Elljean Plant with twenty four years of service and was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
Peggy loved gardening and quilting. She made the quilts to be auctioned off at Pumpkintown Festival for 10 years. She loved her family dearly and you never saw her without a bright smile on her face. Peggy loved her God and sharing her testimony, especially sharing a quote she learned from a pastor at a young age; "You're hanging over hell on a rotten cornstalk". After hearing this quote she knew she didn't want to go there.
