Peggy A. Haynes, 80, wife of the late Ray Haynes, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Walter Weldon Cooper and the late Sadie Louise Keith Cooper, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed her pets, antiques, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, Max Edgar Hoover, Jr. of Fort Stuart, FL; daughters, Kathryn Brock of Florala, AL and Carey Bolding (Ben) of Greenville; grandchildren, Ahndrea Johnson (Carl) of Greenville, Dona Roberts (Ben) of Fountain Inn, Jared Freeman of Simpsonville, Bo Robertson (Jade) of West Columbia, Leighanne Pelfrey (Shawn) of Greenville, Kelley Bolding of Greenville, Justin Hoover of Pickens, and Kayla Adcox of Greenville; and great-grandchildren, Lorin Stanley, Dawson Johnson, Rylee Roberts, Athyn Van De Toorn, Jazmine Freeman, Bo Freeman, Austin Freeman, Arianna Freeman, Isabella Freeman, Nyle Freeman, Gage Adcox, Garrett Adcox, and Griffin Adcox.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Walter Gary Cooper.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Powdersville Road.
