Peggy Joyce Phillips

Peggy Joyce Oliver Phillips, 75, wife of Sam P. Phillips died, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.

Born in Greer, SC, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Lee and Addie Robinson Oliver. She was a graduate of Greer High School and was a retired employee with West Point Stevens, Clemson Plant. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home, are her son, Sam P. Phillips, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; brother, Bill Oliver of Greer, SC; granddaughter, Kaitlin Blair Phillips of Boone, NC; niece, Sheila Fant of Pendleton; and a special friend of the family, Bonnie Knight of Belton, SC.

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Saturday at Refuge Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM, Saturday at the church prior to the service.
