Peggy Jean Looper Wyatt, 78, of 1703 West Parker Road, passed away Monday June 7, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wyatt was born in Pickens County, SC, a daughter of the late Edgar Simpson and Authula Griffin Looper. She retired from Dan River - Woodside Mill and was a member of Woodside Baptist Church and the Mona Chandler Sunday School Class.
Surviving are her daughter, Sylvia Taylor and her husband, Raymond, of Greenville ; a brother, Benny Looper, a sister, Edna Parsons and her husband, Joe, of Dacusville ; grandchildren, Casey Taylor and Melvin Todd Taylor and his wife, Jennifer, all of Greenville and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lee Wyatt and a sister, Emma Sue Garrett.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Ronnie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley.
