Philip J Sprague, 41, of 2915 Old Easley Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 11, 2006.
Born in Mount Pleasant, MI, a son of the late Phileman and Regina Kahgegah Sprague, Mr. Sprague was owner and operator of Sprague Landscaping, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Easley. He was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
Surviving are is wife, Melodie Barnier Sprague of the home; a sister, Rebecca Sprague of Toccoa, GA; six half-brothers, Bernard, Phileman, Jr., Larry, Kenny, Gary and Wayne Sprague, all of MI; two half-sisters, Barbara Sprague and Jo Cathy Bennett, both of MI. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sprague was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Day.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, with Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Curtis Hamlin officiating.
The body is being sent to Clark Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, MI, for services and burial in Riverside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
