Phillip Mitchell Aiken, 51, of 530 East Church Road, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.


Born in Pickens, he was the son of the late Ronald Conway and Doris Hendricks Aiken.  A graduate of Pickens High School, he worked as a truck driver for Bountyland Petroleum.  He attended Arial United Methodist Church and was a member of Bates Masonic Lodge #189, Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #200, the SMORV Club, and was an avid hunter.


Surviving are his wife, Belinda Mathis Aiken, of the home; three step-sons, Bobby Humphrey, Andy Humphrey, both of Easley, Billy Humphrey of Starr; two daughters, Cece Aiken of Easley, Maria Coker of Liberty; and seven grandchildren, Brittany, Drew, Savannah, Caleb, and Zachary Humphrey, and Blake and Kylie Coker.


Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Roger Gwinn. Burial with Masonic Last Rites will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.


Visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 PM until 2 PM.


The family is at their respective homes.
