Phillip Allen Denney, 63, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at AnMed Hospital.

Mr. Denney was born in Pickens County and was the son of the late JB and Ailene Bryant Denney.  He was a truck driver and of the Buddist faith.

Surviving are his daughter, Joy Denney of Westminster; a brother, Carlton Denney of Hartwell GA; two sisters, Madaline Denney of Townville and Tonya Skelton of Pendleton; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Bagwell Denney.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Renee Ramage's house, 8523 Highway 24, Townville, SC.
