Mr. Phillip Wayne Waddell, 53, of 102 Harrison Road, Easley, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.

Phillip was born on Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA on October 13, 1962 to Helen Lucille Bennenfield Waddell and the late Fred Webber Waddell. He graduated from Carolina High School and he loved music. As a licensed CNA, caring for people was Phillip's passion, and even after his retirement, he was always there to help his mother and late father through their illnesses.

In addition to his mother, Phillip is survived by a brother; Charles Fred Waddell (Allison), of Asheboro, NC; a son; Jason Phillip Waddell of Easley; a sister; Cynthia Louise Melton of Gaffney, SC; and a special adopted sister.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, who passed away just three short weeks ago on January 28, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Interment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday prior to the service from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM at the Funeral Home.
