Phyllis Fertig Callicoat, 78, of 205 Magnolia Terrace, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at AnMed Health.
Born in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Jean Lear and Clora Alice Dunn Fertig, she was a licensed Practical Nurse having retired as a supervisor with Anderson Health Care. She formerly worked at Eggleston Children's Hospital at Emory University and was a member of Seneca Church of Christ.
Surviving are; one son, Donald A. Callicoat and wife, Debbie, of Seneca; two daughters, Alice Carter and husband, Thomas B. Jr, of Las Vegas, NV, Sharie Strickland and husband, Herbert, of Seneca; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her son, Donald A. Callicoat, 150 Callicoat Lane, Seneca, SC 29678.
