Phyllis Erlene Airesman Schaller, 91, wife for 70 years to George A. Schaller, died Monday, March 20, 2017 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Newark, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Earle and Lillian Charlotte Johnson Airesman. Phyllis was a retired employee with Columbus Mutual Life Insurance Company and a former resident of Spring City, Tennessee and member of Spring City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, boating, cooking, reading and traveling.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, David George (Anne) Schaller of Dayton, OH; daughters, Beverly (Bob) Matz of Seneca, SC and LuAnn (Pat) Albers of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren, Earl Schaller, Jeff Matz, Beth Jordan, Dan Matz and Augie Albers; and great grandchildren, Avynn Schaller, Wyatt Matz, Hadley Matz, Everett Schaller and Ryan Matz.
Memorial services will be 2 PM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
