Phyllis Yvonne Stone

Phyllis Yvonne Stone, 65, wife of Rodney "Rod" Henry Stone, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born in Franklin, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Walker Durham, Sr. and the late Lovenia Malloy Ellinwood. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Christian faith.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, Brandy Agee of Lake Wedowee, AL, Daniel Agee (April) of Sugar Hill, GA, Matthew Stone (Rebecca) of Lyman, SC, and Stephen Stone (Autumn) of Landrum, SC; a brother, James Walker Durham, Jr. of Dayton, OH; sisters, Cathy Lynn Hartman of Newnan, GA, Megan Irene Burchfield of Colorado, and Sabrina Leigh Meredith of Georgia; stepmother, Toni Durham of Dayton, OH; and nine grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Gary Edgar Ellinwood.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
