Polly Irene Moss Thomas, 85, of 242 Tanglewood Road and wife for 69 years, of Edward Inman Thomas, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Tryon, NC, a daughter of the late Joe and Stella Reid Moss. She was a retired employee with Alice Manufacturing and was a housewife.
Surviving are a son, Glenn I. Thomas of Pickens; daughters, Blanche McCall, Lois White and her husband, Sam, Stella Breedlove and her husband, Junior, and Nettie "Susie" Breedlove and her husband, Clyde, all of Pickens; a half-brother, James Walker of Hickory, NC; a half-sister, Sadie Baughman of Hickory, NC; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church, Pumpkintown with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
