Preston Clark Holbrook

Preston Clark Holbrook, 97, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Born in Augusta, GA, he was a son of the late Grover Elijah Holbrook and the late Mamie Shiflet Holbrook. Mr. Holbrook proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II and he was a former chief chemist for the state of Georgia. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley.

He is survived by a brother-in-law, Morgan Wynne of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Drukell Holbrook; and sisters, Anne "Pug" Wynne and Mary Pentecost.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
