Quinteen R. Nations, 95, husband for over 70 years to Hattie Mae Merck Nations, passed away, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his home.
Quinteen was born in Pickens County, a son of the late James Edward and Margaret Elizabeth Smith Nations. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family of 13 children. He retired after 30 years with Schlumberger in West Union, SC. He spent many years singing in the "Jubileers" Quartet that sang for many funeral services in the upstate. He loved gardening, walking in the woods and loved the Clemson Tigers and the Atlanta Braves. Quinteen was a longtime member of Six Mile Baptist Church and was an US Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Charles Nations (Beverly) of Seneca, SC; Patricia "Patsy" Bradley (Tobey) of Boiling Springs, SC; and Gary Nations of Central; grandchildren, Benjamin Nations (Carly), Daniel Nations (Meagan), and Olivia Bradley.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Friday, October 16, 2020 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home & Cremations with Revs. Ray Longenecker and Billy Ray Merck officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:20 PM, Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Interim Hospice.
