Rachel Ann Bozymowski, a free spirit known for her boundless kindness and infectious laughter, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, at the age of 36.
Born on December 10, 1987, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of John A. and Roxane T. Bozymowski. Rachel graced the world with her presence, bringing warmth and joy to everyone she encountered. Rachel was an extraordinary individual with a big heart who never put herself first. Her friendly demeanor made strangers feel like friends, and her genuine kindness radiated in every interaction. With a quick wit that could lighten any room, she had an unmatched ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. Whether she was sharing a joke or engaging in playful banter, Rachel’s spirit was a beacon of joy and camaraderie. A free spirit at heart, Rachel loved celebrating life’s little moments, particularly during holidays when she reveled in playing games with her beloved nieces and nephews. Affectionately dubbed “Lil Doodies,” they returned her love by calling her “Big Doodie.” Sitting at the kids' table was where Rachel found delight, surrounded by laughter and the carefree spirit of her nieces and nephews. She cherished every opportunity to create memories with her family, forming bonds that will forever be treasured. Rachel had a profound love for music that was eclectic, filling her life with soundtracks that matched her personality. Her eclectic interests led her to embrace a love for all things pirate and beachy, a reflection of her adventurous spirit. For a few years, she called Charleston, South Carolina, home, where she immersed herself in the charm and beauty of the coastal city, further enriching her life's tapestry. Her friends and family will forever remember Rachel as a one-of-a-kind companion who never forgot a detail, always there to lend an ear or a helping hand. She possessed a rare gift of being able to make others feel seen and cherished, solidifying her status as a lovable confidante and friend.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, John A. Bozymowski, IV, (Morgan); a sister, Theresa E. Hahne (Jason); her grandfather, “Pa”, John A. Bozymowski; two uncles, David M. Bozymowski, and Keith Glassford (Jennifer); two aunts, Diane Osmer (Brian), and D’arcey Jonik (Tom); and five nieces and nephews, Braden Hahne, John Anthony Bozymowski, V., Gabriel Bozymowski, Joelle Bozymowski, and Bennett Bozymowski.
