Rachel Hall Youngblood

Rachel Hall Youngblood, 89, wife of the late Joseph “Ray” Youngblood, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Born in Easley, SC, she was a loving person who, cared for neighbors who were sick. Rachel also loved interior decorating, sewing, and painting. She enjoyed gardening, cooking southern style foods for her family, and during the holidays baking cakes and pies. Rachel enjoyed traveling to different places with her husband such as New England, Ireland, and the Western states. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church for 10 years.

Rachel is survived by sons, Ted R. Youngblood (Brenda) of Easley, SC, and Jeff Youngblood (Sonia) of Florida, daughters; Cheryl A. Youngblood of Pickens, SC and Laurie Y. Elrod (Anthony) of Powdersville, grandchildren; Jacob, Tasha, Jessica, Alexis, Logan, Jenna, great-grandchildren; Tuc, Tanner, Cely, and Maddison.

Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence T. Hall and Laura Gilbert Hall, and brothers, Curtis Hall and Herman Hall.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Rd, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow the service at the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
