Rafael "Rafa" Heredia Pagan, 82, of Cardinal Woods Way, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.

Born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Ramon Heredia Lopategui and Isaias Pagan Rosario.

Mr. Heredia Pagan was a humble man who was strong in his faith, loved his family, adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed playing Dominos and watching his favorite baseball team, The New York Mets.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Angela Heredia Pagan; children, Rafael Heredia, Jr. (Luisa) of Easley, Evelyn Maldonado (Jesus) of Piedmont, Carmen Buntenbach (Jamie) of Easley and Ana Maria Brown (Zack) of Greenville; grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Antonio, Angela, Nicolas, Kayla, Michael, Gavin, Ethan, Alexis and Andrew; great grandchildren, Alannah, Brielle, Adrian and Nolan; brothers, Confessor Heredia, Ramon Heredia, Monserrate Heredia, Agustin Heredia and Carlos Heredia all of Jayuya, PR; and sisters, Margarita Heredia, Carmen Heredia and Maria Heredia all of Jayuya, PR.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge # 5850, Greenville, SC 29601 in honor of Mr. Heredia Pagan's wife, Angela Heredia Pagan.

The family will be at the home.
