Ralph Brooks Grant, 86, of 126 Legion Street, died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, the son of the late J.W. "Lannie" and Janie Porter Grant, Mr. Grant retired from J.P. Stevens Corporation and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where he belonged to the Glory Bound Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the US Army Air Corps.
Surviving is a daughter, Retha Jean Grant of Easley. Mr. Grant was twice married, first to the late Jean Chastain Grant and second to the late Wilma Henson Noblitt Grant.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore and Rev. Walt Sweet officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The Glory Bound Sunday School Class of Rock Springs Baptist Church and members of the "Table of Knowledge" coffee club will serve as honorary escort.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Retha Grant, 107 Richland Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
