Mr. Ralph Harrison "Pete" Johnson, 68, husband of Linda Cope Johnson, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Harrison Odell and Irene Cushman Johnson, Mr. Johnson retired from Bes-Pac and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of forty-eight years, are two daughters, Amanda J. Chastain (Jerry) of Liberty, and Amy J. Pace of Dacusville; a son, Peter Johnson of Easley; six brothers, Kenneth, Jimmy, Mike, Randy, Tony, and Dean Johnson, all of Easley; one sister, Gail Trotter of Pickens; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was predeceased by a sister, Donna Cassell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Jones Avenue Baptist Church with Reverends Zach Shaw and Chad Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
