Randall Carl Wade, 69, of Easley, husband of Carol Lesley Wade, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at his home after a battle with lung cancer.
Born April 20, 1944 in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Roy Wade and Geneva Blythe Wade. Mr. Wade worked with Ameco for thirty four years and retired from the SC DOT in Greenville. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
In addition to his wife of twenty three years, Mr. Wade is survived by his step son, Britt McNeely (Kristen); step granddaughter Haley McNeely; sister, Hope Summers of Fountain Inn; brothers Bobby Wade (Annette) of Easley and Johnny Wade (Lynn) of Kernersville, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Reverend Dr. Roger Couch officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
