Randy H. Atwell, 64, of Pisgah Forest, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his home.
Born in Cabarrus County, NC, a son of Willie Ruth Richie Atwell of Concord, NC, and the late Gilmer O. Atwell, Mr. Atwell retired as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Surviving are two sons, Michael A. Atwell (Jennifer) of Greer, and Richard A. Atwell of Pelzer; a brother, Steve Atwell of Concord, NC; a sister, Judy Lackey (Kenny) of Concord, NC; and two granddaughters, Emily Ginther and Natalie Atwell. In addition to his father, Mr. Atwell was predeceased by a son, Jonathan A. Atwell.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, SC. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Family members are at their respective homes.
