Johnnie "Randy" Cleveland Mumford, Jr., of Easley, passed away Thursday January 26, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Mr. Mumford was born in Nashville, Tennessee, a son of Eunice Beasley Mumford, of Charlotte, NC and the late Johnnie C. Mumford, Sr. He earned a B.S. Degree from U.N.C.C. and retired from Duke Energy as an electrical engineer. He was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Cynthia Fentress Mumford; a son, Michael "Scott" Mumford, of Youngsville, NC; and a sister, Cheryl Long, of Charlotte, NC.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Michelle Mumford and a brother, Robert Mumford.
A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Dr. Jim Spencer and the Reverend Rodney Graham officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
