Randy Thompson

Lewis "Randy" Thompson, Jr., 76, husband of Cheryl Franks Thompson, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, a son of the late Lewis Randolph Thompson, Sr. and the late Martha Cade Thompson of Joanna, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved making people laugh, woodworking, photography, golfing, people watching, and spending time with his family. Randy proudly served his country in the US Air Force during Vietnam and he retired from Michelin after thirty years of service. He was an attendee of Community Bible Church in Easley.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Shannon Keyes (Bob) of Easley; sons, Brantley Jay Thompson (Christy) of Easley and Ian Lance Thompson (Angie) of Walhalla; grandchildren, Haley, Stephen, Diana, Ashley, Logan, Brandon, Alyssa, and Kaylee; and great- grandchildren, Sophia, Easton, and on one the way.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will be held in M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
