Lacy Ray Lamb, 78, of 104 Melissa Court, died Sunday, December 6, 2009, at Westside Living Center.

Born in Robeson County, NC, a son of the late Furman and Lacie Allen Lamb, Mr. Lamb retired from Fabri-Cal, and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served in the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Bobbie Nations Lamb of the home; a daughter, Connie Lynn Rozier of Columbia; two sons, Richard R. Tyson and wife, Cathy, of North Myrtle Beach and David W. Tyson of Columbia; a brother, Eldon Lamb of Lumberton, NC; three sisters, Gail L. Foster and husband, Russell, of Raliegh, NC, Margie L. Floyd and husband, French, of Lumberton, NC, and Marie L. Dean and husband, Sam, of Clinton, TN; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lamb was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice Lamb and Harold Lamb.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Shane Donald officiating.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tanglewood Baptist Church, 2801 Old Easley Bridge Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
