Ray Ramey,65,of 1024 Pumpkintown Highway, died Thursday November 5, 2009 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Ramey was born in Pumpkintown, a son of the late Jesse Samson and Thessie Chapman Ramey. He retired from Ramey Logging Company and was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Mae Mann Ramey, of the home ; a daughter, Patricia "Trish" Morgan, of Easley ; a brother, Earl Jackson Ramey, of Pickens ; sisters, Azilee Blankenship, of Greenville and Ruby Ramey, of Six Mile ; grandchildren, Cameron Reeves, Sheena Reeves and Dakota Reeves.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Clyde Gravely officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
