Mr. Ray Reeves, 80, husband of Leoda Mozel Turner Reeves, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Fields and Sarah Brezale Reeves, Mr. Reeves retired from Michelin and was a member of Bessie Road Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of thirty-five years, are six daughters, Debra Diane Wilson of Pelzer, Nancy Ann Smith of Alabama, Mary Fay Adams of Anderson, Doris Jean Barnard of Pelzer, Geraldine Smith of Mississippi, and Wanda Watt of Pelzer ; three sons, Marvin Roper of Greenwood, Bobby Roper of Piedmont and Mark Roper of Greenville; two brothers, Carl Reeves of Greenville and Bill Reeves of Welford; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Monday, July 11, 2016 at Bessie Road Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Griswold officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:15 PM Monday at the church, prior to the service.
