Ray Edward Traynum, 66, of LaFrance passed away, Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Norman E. and Laura Mae Smith Traynum. Ray was a 1970 graduate of Pendleton High School and was a Roofing contractor. He was a former member of the US Army Reserves and a member of Bishop Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Nicole Ladd (Jeremy) of Pendleton; brother, Louie Traynum (Kay) of Anderson; sisters, Lucille Land (Jim) of Westminster and Carol Cartee (John) of Pendleton; granddaughter, Anna Blair Ladd; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his brother, Stanley Traynum.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Bishop Branch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside committal until 5:30 PM in the church fellowship hall.
The family will be at the home of Jeremy and Nicole Ladd.
