Raymond "Ramey" Marshall Dickerson

Raymond "Ramey" Marshall Dickerson, Jr., 57, husband of Lori Moore Dickerson, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Born in Anderson, SC, a son of Johnnie Delinda Duncan and the late Raymond Marshall Dickerson, Sr.,  he was a loving husband and father who enjoyed serving in his community, hiking, camping, and spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and he was the current Commander of James F. Daniel, Jr. American Legion Post 3 in Greenville, SC. Ramey was also a former troop leader for the Boy Scouts and Trail Life. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with Colonial Life as an insurance salesman for over twenty years.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Noah Stuart Dickerson (Danielle Rene) and Rachel Lauren Dickerson (Dalton Massey), both of Charleston, SC; a brother, Michael Eugene Dickerson (Melissa Weatherman) of Burnsville, NC; a sister, Eva Dickerson Summers (Mark) of Easley, SC; and his beloved pets, Allie, Smokey, Ollie, and Koda.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
