Raymond Harold (Rabbit) Taylor, 83, of 129 Agnew Road died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at McCall Hospice House.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late John E. and Bertha I. Horton Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a retired textile employee and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his faithful companion, "J.J."; two sons, Harold Keith Taylor and his wife Tina of Baldwin, GA and Johnny Lee Taylor of Greer; a sister, Isabelle Snow of Greer; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Lee Lawson Taylor; a son, Rex Dale Taylor ; a daughter, Ivey Kay Taylor; one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC. Burial will follow in Abner Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Greer.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 at the funeral home.
The family is at their respective homes.
