Reba Lee Balchin Evatt, 83, formerly of 208 Floyd Circle, Easley, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, in Greenville.

Born in Oconee County, Mrs. Evatt was the daughter of the late Riley and Elizabeth Nelms Balchin. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and retired from Bell Laundry and Cleaners, after 46 years of service.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Linda Evatt of Easley; a brother, Cecil Balchin of Seneca; and two sisters, Doris Hunt of Greenville and Dot Moore of Byhalia, MS.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Evatt and her son, Tommy Evatt.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Westwood Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Greg Thornhill. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery - West.

The family will receive friends at the home of Linda Evatt, 1487 Old Easley Highway, Easley, SC 29640 Thursday and following the burial on Friday.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be placed in the church at 10:30 A.M. Friday.
