Rebecca "Becki" Hamby Hunter

Rebecca “Becki” Hamby Hunter, 85, of Easley, South Carolina, loving wife of Paul Derrell Hunter, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Boyce and Sara Sorgee Hamby. Becki was a graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1959. She went on to work as an accountant for Harper Brothers, where she built her career with steady dedication. For the last 50 years, she made her home in Easley,

In addition to her husband of 67 years, Becki is survived by a son, Mike Hunter (Susan); a daughter, Angie Case (Tim); two grandchildren, Tyler Riddle (Shelby), and Corie Durham (Justin); three great-grandchildren, Elliotte Riddle, Finnley Riddle, and Riley Durham, and one on the way.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the Hunter infant granddaughter twins; a grandson, Tyler Case; and a great-granddaughter, Hunter Durham.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the mausoleum.
