Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Davis Evatt, 72, wife of Donald Eugene Evatt, Sr., went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 3, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Jefferson Daniel Davis, Sr. and the late Martha Hughes Davis, Mrs. Evatt was a 1968 graduate of Easley High School and later received her Associate degree in Business from Tri-County Technical College. She was a retired Bookkeeper and longtime member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, since 1966, where she sang in the church choir and taught Sunday School.

Becky loved camping and traveling with the senior citizens of the church, but her greatest love was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her. 

Surviving, in addition to her husband of fifty-two years, are her daughter, Melissa Evatt Cribb (Alan) of Spartanburg; two sisters, Jeanne Davis Gillespie (Ben), and Lynn Davis Powers (Mark), both of Easley; a brother, Ben Davis of Easley; her four grandchildren, Michael Evatt, Hannah Evatt, Boyd Cribb (Emma), and Rebecca Cribb; and her great-grandchild, Kolby Evatt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evatt was predeceased by her son, Donald Eugene Evatt, Jr.; and a brother, Jeff Davis, Jr.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2022 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
