Ressie Idella Norris, 93, of 302 Henry Street, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Larkin and Lila Mae Sheriff Norris. She was a homemaker and a member of Dacusville United Methodist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

Surviving are two sisters, Pauline Thomas and Beatrice Sheriff, both of Easley; two nieces, Ramona Gravely and husband Sam of Sunset, Judy Stringer and husband Dean of Talmo, GA; a nephew, Joel Norris and wife Bonnie of Tucker, GA; cousins, Michael and Danette Sheriff of Liberty; and long-time friends, Melba Hooper of Easley, Zack and Anna Lovorn of Warner Robins, GA, and Steve and Teresa Pace of Easley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Dacusville United Methodist Church with Reverend James McCoy-Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown where the family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM on Sunday.

The family is at the home of Pauline Thomas; 134 Pineview Drive; Easley, SC 29642.

Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to the Dacusville U.M.C. Choir Fund; 1365 Thomas Mill Road; Easley, SC 29640.
