Ressie Mae Bearden Palmer

Ressie Mae Bearden Palmer, 78, wife of Army Veteran, Marada Cliff Palmer, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30 at her home.

Born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Samuel Bearden and the late Lois Hill Bearden, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed going to church, painting, flower arranging, gardening, camping, and spending time with her family. She worked for many years as a nursing supervisor for Baptist Easley Hospital and she was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Robert Samuel Lowie (Daisy) of Seneca; a daughter, Mary Dana Lowie (Jarvis Nealy) of Greenville; a brother, Larry Wayne Bearden of Ocean Springs, MS; and grandchildren, Ashley Rice, Michael Rice, Jordan Butterfield, Josh Covey, Amanda Covey, Kevin Palmer, Greg Palmer, Logan Palmer, and Jarod Palmer.

She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Janice Edwina Lowie; and a brother, David Bearden.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642 and from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at the church, prior to the service.

Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
