Rev. EJ Massengale, 84, of Powdersville, South Carolina, husband of the late Vella Phillips Massengale, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

From speaking comforting words at funerals to leading congregations in prayer during times of strife, he exemplified what it meant to be a compassionate servant of God.
