BurnsClemson, SCReva Wheeler Burns, 93, longtime resident of Clemson and widow of James Pearson Burns, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Seneca.Born in Ninety-Six, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Nettie Harling Wheeler.  She was a graduate of Nursing from Mt. Siani Nursing School and retired from the Clemson Health Center at Clemson University after 16 years of service.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Clemson.Surviving are daughter, Ann Courtney (George) of Seneca; sons Gene Burns (Jeanne) of Asheville, NC and Mercer Burns (Martha) of Townville; grandchildren, Nancy Jones, Rob Burns (Jennifer), Krispen Brant (Matt), Jimmy Burns (Lauren), Sara Cook (Nathan) and Carl Fuller; great-grandchildren, Madison and Eli Brant, Hayden Murray; Daisy Cook, Jack Cook and Madeline Grace Burns.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Burns; a brother; and two sisters.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 22, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Clemson with Dr. Rusty Brock officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Reva W.
