Rex Alan Rogers, 48, of 207 Marc Lane, husband of Hope Burnett Rogers, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

Born in Washington Court House, Ohio, he was a son of Ralph Rogers and Wilma Jean Gregory. Rex was an avid hunter and a member of the NRA. He was also a member of Potters Clay Fellowship Church and employed with Hartness International.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents are: a daughter, Jennifer Cleveland (Michael) of Easley; a sister, Darlene Monie (Lavan) of Newberry; a granddaughter, Alexis Cleveland of Easley; a niece, Journee Ballenger and a nephew, Ryan Monie, both of Newberry. Three half-sisters Renee Atkinson, Tracy Franks and Lisa Beegle; 2 step-brothers John and Charles Hohn.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday at Potters Clay Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Carlton Cleveland officiating.

The family will be at the home.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miracle Hill Boys Shelter, 2709 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29615.
