Rhonda Thigpen, 45, wife of Ronald Thigpen, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of Janie Owen Sloan and the late Alvin B. Owen, Mrs. Thigpen was a homemaker and a member of Pickens Church of God.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are three sons, Jamie Dean Black, Brandon Michael Owen and George Chadrick Owen; three sisters, Donna Lee Owen Todd, Tina Marie Owens and Dixie Ann Owen Poovey; two brothers, Alvin Bobby Owen and Allen Brett Owen; a grandmother, Inez Galloway Owen; and one grandchild, Emma Black.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the home of Harold and Donna Todd, 220 Willow Spring Road, Six Mile, SC 29680.
