Richard Henri Deschenes, 67, of Taylors, loving husband of Deb Deschenes, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Lewiston, Maine, he was a son of the late Elmer Clarence Deschaine and Dorothee Therese Larochelle. Mr. Deschenes received an associates degree from Devry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and was of the Catholic Faith. He loved Clemson Football, New England Patriots Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and spending time with his family. He proudly served our country in the US Navy.

In addition to his loving wife, Rick is survived by a son, Christopher Deschenes (Anna) of Easley, SC; a daughter, Michelle Mullen (Tommy) of Mechanicsville, Virginia; three grandchildren, Caila Raisch (Tristan), Chainey Mullen, and Caroline Mullen; four brothers, Donald Ouellette, Michael Ouellette, Gary Ouellette, and Brian Ouellette, all of Maine; three sisters, Sandra Smith and Gayle Williams, both of Florida, and Dawn Deschaine-Thompson of Delaware; and two very special young ladies that Rick and Deb have always called their own, Tyler McCrary Grant of Atlanta, Georgia, and Melissa Moody Thompson of Smithville, Tennessee.

The family will hold a celebration of Rick's life on Monday, June 24, 2019 at The Venue at Falls Park at 5:00 PM.

Graveside services will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
